Sterling Research Group Announces New President

St. Petersburg, FL, April 14, 2006
After 20 years at the helm, Bill Haueisen has retired as Sterling Research Group president. Sterling Research Group has appointed Lisa Rohrer as its new president. Rohrer joined Sterling in 2003, and over the past four years she has worked with Sterling in all aspects of operations, enabling her to understand the full scope of the company. Both Haueisen and Rohrer have started their new roles, with Haueisen remaining as Chairman of the Board.

Rohrer began at Sterling while in high school helping after school as a data entry clerk. After earning a B.S. in Psychology from Wellesley College and working for several years in finance, she came to Sterling where she spent time in each area of the firm. While pursuing her Ph.D. at the Harvard Business School, she served on the Board of Directors, and upon returning in April 2004, she worked with Haueisen on all levels of business. “Now, after years of dedication that has culminated in her function as a virtual chief operating officer, the promotion is timely, appropriate, and well-deserved,” stated Haueisen.

Rohrer comments on her new position, “Sterling has been and continues to be an incredible company with a strong team, robust technology, and growing markets. I am so proud to work with such a talented group of people serving some of the best and most sophisticated clients in the country.”

With this action Haueisen will retire as president, but will remain Chairman of the Board. He will continue to be an active member of the Sterling team, functioning as a contact point for key clients and helping to set the strategic direction of the company. Both Haueisen and his wife, Jan, are actively involved in many civic activities, and are looking forward to devoting more time and energy to volunteerism and non-profit leadership.

With this change in leadership Sterling is moving forward and expanding with new technology that leads the industry in customer satisfaction management. The Sterling team is dedicated to close and personalized partnerships with their clients, partnerships that are fostered by continuity in leadership and client service. According to Haueisen, “Sterling’s future has never looked brighter.”
